What We Do

Monthly Socials

Every month we strive to put on at least one major social event for our community to connect and share queer joy in a safe, affirming space. These events range from structured parties & mixers to relaxed board game nights and quiet sharing circles.

Two people proudly hold up a pride flag emblazoned with the Geelong Rainbow logo beside a coffee and cinnamon doughnut.

Coffee Catch Ups

Our Coffee Catch Ups happen
on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month,
from 10 AM – 12 PM
at Geelong West Neighbourhood House.
No tickets or RSVP needed, come as you are!

Workshops & Special Events

Every once in a while Geelong Rainbow will host major events, usually in partnership with our amazing allies in. the Geelong community. These include our annual Geelong Rainbow festival, community panel discussions & specific peer group programs

What’s Coming Up @ Geelong Rainbow?

Intergenerational Pride Panel

(GiveOUT Day Fundraiser)

Join Geelong Rainbow Inc. for Generations of Pride, a special GiveOUT Day panel event celebrating the rich history and diverse voices of our local community.

GiveOUT Day is a national day of giving to LGBTIQA+ projects, and this year, we are coming together at Platform Arts to reflect on our past and look toward our future. We are thrilled to host a unique panel featuring seven Geelong Rainbow community members representing six different decades. Listen as they share their personal stories, challenges, and triumphs, reflecting on what it means to be LGBTIQA+ in Geelong and across Australia over the years.

This evening of storytelling and connection is also a crucial fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go directly toward funding the milestone 10th Annual Geelong Rainbow Festival in February 2027.

Come show your pride, learn from our community’s living history, and help us build a bigger, brighter festival for next year!
